Akuma
24.01.2023
Akuma was the first game project I took part of during my Game & UX Designer education at Futuregames. In this project I worked as a project lead, level designer and sound designer. I worked with a small team on all the levels but my main focus was the second level. As a sound designer I chose the music and made small edits on it so it could be looped. As a project lead I took some hard decisions whenever we cut something from the game.

Reflection
What I learned
- How to use Github
- Better communication skills
- Working in group projects in Unity
- Working with deadlines
- Game pitching
What I could have done better
- I could have been better at sorting the hierarchy in Unity from the start
- Be better at communicating the importance of sound effects to the team
- Looking up how Github worked before starting the project
