A level I made in Far Cry 5 Arcade Editor. I started creating a leveldesign document. When I had decided what kind of level I wanted to make and what I would contain I made a early blockout in Unity using Invector Third Person Controller and when I had the layout I wanted I started making the level in Far Cry 5 Arcade Editor
Gameplay Overview
The level contains classic Far Cry abilities like shoot, sneak, Human enemies, Animals and health pickups.
The player wakes up and finds his mates dead. The player needs to escape and the only way out is on the other side of the island.
To survive the player must engage the enemies either by sneaking or by brute force

What was important for me for this leveldesign
- Always know where the level exit is. Where the player is in the level
- Use different leveldesign techniques to guide the player
- Gameplay variety, plan for different playstyles (sneak, gunblasting etc.)
- Fun gameplay
- Good pacing
- Set up minigoals
- Some verticality

What I didnt prioritize for this leveldesign
- Level length
- Good looking (I wanted to focus on the leveldesign and not environmental art)
- Enemy variety
- Gun variety
- Bugs
- Difficulty (level is designed to be easy and welcoming to new players)

What went right?
- Many reminders of the levelexit for the player
- Some environmental storytelling and guide to the player
- Environmental variety
- Gameplay variety
What could I have done better?
- I could have put some more optional paths/secrets in the level
- Have the end be more intense
- Forest section could have been more action packed
