Stealth Leveldesign

A stealthbased level I made in Unreal Engine 5.0 using blueprints and art assets "Spaceship Interior Environment Set" from Unreal Marketplace. 

The level takes place in a hypothetical stealth based game. The player learns some basic stealth mechanics, take down enemies from behind and collects a hookshot powerup.

The level is made during my freetime and I have made it in about 7 days.

What did I learn? What Went Well?

  • No feature creep
  • Perfected my process (What mechanics does the level have, Whats the purpose, Level beats, paper prototype, blockout)
  • Troubleshooting in Unreal Engine 5


What could be improved?

  • Fixing animations
  • Adding SFX
  • Better onboarding. Preferable visual or audio but in worst case some text.
  • More player freedom
  • Level pace
